Automotive Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary

Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostic tests, and preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment available. Correct deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing major assemblies in power, drive, electrical, and emission systems. Perform machine shop operations, test drives, and alignments while verifying performance and complying with federal and state standards. Maintain vehicle records, manage shop supplies, inventory stock, and place orders. Execute field inspections and repairs in all weather conditions. Requires ASE certification (preferred), valid driver's license, and own tools.

  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid Driver's license

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one to three years of related technical experience/training
  • equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • Have Own Tools
