Job Summary
Wash, wax, buff, and clay bar used vehicles to meet dealership retail standards. Vacuum, shampoo carpets, and clean upholstery, leather, vinyl, glass, and interior surfaces while removing stains, odors, and pet hair. Clean engines, wheels, wheel wells, and tires; apply tire dressing and protective coatings. Inspect vehicles for cosmetic imperfections and report damage to management. Install dealer decals, license plate brackets, window stickers, and inventory tags. Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership and maintain organized inventory parking. Operate pressure washers, buffers, vacuums, and other detailing equipment in a safe, OSHA-compliant environment. Maintain detailing equipment and ensure chemicals are used efficiently. Meet daily production goals while assisting with new vehicle detailing and customer delivery preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions preferred
- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred but willing to train motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
