Job Summary
Conduct wet sanding and polishing of newly painted body panels for Ford Mustang GTD vehicle assembly. Follow established safety procedures, mask appropriate areas, and utilize various buffing techniques to identify and correct paint defects such as debris, runs, sags, and solvent pop. Maintain polishing tools and materials while working in a dynamic team environment with minimal supervision. Training is provided as required. This role supports Multimatic's quality-focused culture within their global automotive component supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in auto body finishing and repair
- Ability to interpret basic instructions both verbal and written
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and instruction
- Flexible schedule to accommodate shift work if required
Desired Qualifications
- An understanding of composite component construction is an asset
- Passionate interest in automobiles
- Desires hands-on experience with high performance vehicles
