Job Summary
Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors while washing, drying, and inspecting the exterior of cars, trucks, and vans. Check fuel levels, fluid levels, tire pressure, and warning lights; reset vehicle settings and stage cars for rental. Operate tools like carpet shampoo machines to remove stains and odors, and report any safety concerns or damage. Maintain a clean work area and branch site appearance, including lot sweeping and restroom cleaning. Assist customers as needed and transport them between branches. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to work 25 hours weekly, and reside within one hour of this Rahway location.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to operate a motor vehicle
- A valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from the location
- At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
- Being at least 18 years of age
- Completion of the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements if a first-time driver and under 21 years old
