Job Summary
Buff freshly painted panels to remove imperfections and eliminate sanding scratches, dust nibs, and minor paint defects. Clean compound residue and ensure vehicles are free from swirl marks, holograms, and other finish defects. Perform quality inspections to verify repaired vehicles meet company standards and customer expectations before delivery. Maintain buffing, polishing, and detailing equipment in good working order while following all safety procedures and keeping the work area organized. Assist painters and production staff as needed to support workflow and delivery schedules. Participate in ongoing training related to paint finishing, detailing techniques, OEM repair procedures, vehicle technology, and workplace safety. Apply new techniques and processes learned through training and coaching to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
