Job Summary
Supervise and coach detail shop employees while overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and shift coverage. Perform hands-on automotive detailing as needed to support workflow and ensure all vehicles meet dealership-ready quality standards before delivery. Maintain inventory of detailing products, chemicals, and equipment while monitoring and enforcing safety procedures, company policies, and quality control. Collaborate with dealership managers and internal teams to meet production goals and identify process improvements to increase shop efficiency and turnaround time. This role requires 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience and prior supervisory experience in a shop or dealership environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience (interior and exterior)
- Prior supervisory, lead, or assistant manager experience in a shop, dealership, or reconditioning environment
- Strong knowledge of detailing products, tools, and safety practices
- Reliable transportation
- Full-time availability, including weekends if needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support a dealership workflow
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Detail Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, or Lead Detailer
- Background in dealership operations or reconditioning services
