Job Summary
Prepare, post, and file journal entries to record accounting data including bank activity (ACH and wire transactions), depreciation, and prepaid items for multiple sets of books maintained on ADP software. Perform bank reconciliations and assist in preparing month-end analysis schedules to facilitate accurate closing. Handle transactions across various companies and balance intercompany accounts. Requires minimum of 3 years dealership accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of the complete accounting cycle. Must be willing to work necessary hours to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years dealership accounting experience
- Experience with dealership accounting software
- A working knowledge of complete accounting cycle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel

- Experience with ADP financial software and accounting system
- Experience with Timberline Software
- Experience with bank cash management software
- Additional full-charge bookkeeping experience
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Experience working in a multiple-entity environment
