Job Summary
Automotive Commodity Buyer responsible for commercial purchasing of stamping components in North America, supporting regional category strategy aligned with global strategy; drive supplier competition and negotiations, handle RFQs and contracts, manage supplier relations, support regional localization and raw material impact projects, maintain pricing and quality agreements, and report on price development and planning to the Material Field leader.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing roles, preferably automotive industry
- Open to travel domestically and internationally
- Knowledge on production processes (die casting, machining, stamping parts)
- Fluent English for business environment / German desirable
