Job Summary
Perform heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large area bodywork including Bondo repair on multiple vehicle panels. Execute stud welding and extensive bodywork required to prepare low-mileage, late-model cars for inspection and sale. Train other autobody technicians if joining as an experienced prepper with five years of professional experience. Work in a fast-paced production environment using state-of-the-art tools within high-tech Inspection Centers, adhering to mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- able to work mandatory overtime based on our business needs
