Job Summary
Cashier at a Midwest auto group handles payments for service, parts, and sales down payments, reconciles cash daily, answers multi-line phone systems, assists customers, and supports office tasks. Requires 1+ years of cashier or customer service experience, proficiency in Excel, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. Working schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00–4:00 with occasional nights/weekends; high school diploma or GED required; dealership experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with full benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a Cashier or in Customer Service is required
- Prior Dealership experience a plus
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Excel and basic computer applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 - 4:00 (with a 1 hour lunch break)
- Occasional nights and weekends when needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
