Job Summary
Perform body shop repairs and fundamental fleet maintenance on tractors and trucks, including removal, replacement, and repair of all components. Diagnose and restore damaged equipment to original state using established policies, while painting vehicles to company standards and executing safe welding practices on aluminum. Install and remove decals, identify parts for repair or replacement, and road test vehicles to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate maintenance records and raise equipment using hydraulic jacks while inspecting trailer structural and suspension systems. Requires ASE certification in body repairs, valid driver's license, and ability to lift over 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturers' repair processes & adherence to our collision technical repair processes.
- Ability to use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license to drive any customer or company vehicle.
- ASE certification in body repairs.
- Pro Level training and other industry-required training.
- Predictable and reliable attendance required.
- Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.
- Reaching above and below shoulder level.
- Able to push materials/parts carts and push cars (with assistance).
- Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs.
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment.
- May be exposed to repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion.
- May be required to inspect vehicles outdoors in inclement weather.
- May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high levels of dust and noise in repair center.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator.
Desired Qualifications
- Welding certificate preferred.
