Job Summary
Repair and restore assigned vehicles to pre-accident condition by refinishing, priming, sanding, and buffing body parts in accordance with factory specifications. Paint vehicle surfaces using a sprayer or brush, mix paint per manufacturer guidelines, and produce test panels for color matching. Perform quality repairs without defects while consistently utilizing safety equipment and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste and OSHA standards. Maintain an organized work area, return tools to designated locations, and participate in ongoing I-CAR training. Previous auto body painting experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous auto body painting experience
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
- Must be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator
- Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds is required
- Must understand and keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
