Job Summary
Automotive Billing & Title Clerk handles post-sale accounting, title/registration paperwork, and records management in a Belvidere dealership accounting office. Responsibilities include posting deal accounting, processing trade-in payoffs and dealer trades, assisting with warranty cancellations and related documentation, scanning and filing records, supporting daily dealership accounting processes, collaborating with the Office Manager and leadership on reporting, reviewing and processing new and used vehicle sales documentation, posting costs into the dealership management system, verifying deal structure and supporting paperwork, preparing and submitting DMV title and registration paperwork, and tracking title status to ensure timely completion. Requires 1+ years of accounting support or dealership experience, accounts payable/receivable experience, and strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, plus familiarity with dealership systems and office software.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Accounting support experience OR prior dealership experience required
- Accounts payable / accounts receivable experience
- Experience managing documentation, financial records, or compliance processes
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day.
