Job Summary
Conduct routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles, including light engine work, transmissions, electrical systems, and HVAC. Perform multi-point inspections, document all work on repair orders, and communicate with service advisors regarding additional needs or delays. Execute road tests to confirm successful repairs and maintain manufacturer certifications while adhering to Asbury standards. Complete preventive maintenance and warranty repairs, ensuring customer vehicles are returned clean and compliant with federal safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must have basic tools
- Must have great technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
