Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure efficient operation of Mavis retail locations, supervising mechanics/technicians, scheduling work, managing orders, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of jobs while delivering customer satisfaction. Service Manager duties include assisting customers with tire selections, directing workflow of automotive technicians, driving sales initiatives, communicating repair recommendations, and maintaining high in-store service levels. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and hands-on automotive service responsibilities within a full-time position at Mavis Tire locations in the Franklin Square/Floral Park area.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales or in automotive repairs/maintenance or equivalent combination thereof
