Job Summary
Automotive Assistant Manager and Service Manager roles at Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the East Northport/Hauppauge, NY area. Responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager to operate the location efficiently and safely, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining a safe work environment. Service Manager duties include assisting customers with tire selections, recommending under-car repair services, directing the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, driving sales initiatives, communicating with customers about repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
