Job Summary
Assistant Manager and Service Manager roles at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Massapequa, NY. Responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager to operate the location efficiently and safely, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and enforcing policies. Service Manager duties include assisting customers with tire selections, directing workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, driving sales initiatives, communicating with customers, and ensuring high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance while delivering an excellent in-store experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
