Job Summary
Assistant Manager and Service Manager roles at Mavis (NTB/Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices) in the Lanham/Greenbelt, MD area. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager by coordinating policies, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing orders, ensuring timely completion and safety, and upholding customer expectations. The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections, directs workflow of mechanics and technicians, drives sales initiatives, communicates repair needs, and ensures customer satisfaction with in-store service. Responsibilities include leadership, enforcing policies, safety, customer service excellence, and supervision of automotive repair and tire operations.
Required Qualifications
- (1) be at least 18 years of age
- (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States
- (3) possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
