Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure the retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively, including scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, and ensuring timely completion of jobs while meeting customer expectations. Service Manager directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, assists customers with tire selections and recommended under-car repairs, communicates to customers, ensures high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, drives sales initiatives, and strives to meet customer satisfaction in-store. The role encompasses leadership responsibilities, customer service, and operational duties within a Mavis Tire & Brakes center in Hicksville, NY; offers full-time employment with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales or automotive repairs/maintenance or any combination of education/training/experience demonstrating ability to perform the duties
