Job Summary
Assistant Manager duties include supporting the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and effective operation of Mavis retail locations. Responsibilities include enforcing policies and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing orders, ensuring timely completion and quality of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring team safety. Service Manager duties involve assisting customers with tire selections, recommending under-car repairs, directing the workflow of mechanics and technicians, driving sales initiatives, communicating with customers, and delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance to meet customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and coordination of repair and maintenance services in a full-time capacity at Mavis service centers in the Alexandria, VA area.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance or any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties
