Job Summary
Assistant Manager and Service Manager roles at Mavis Tires & Brakes in East Meadow, NY. Responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe operations; scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, enforcing policies and standards, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining team safety. The Service Manager duties include assisting customers with tire selections, directing workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians, driving sales initiatives, communicating with customers about automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction with the in-store experience, and striving to meet customer expectations. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
- Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
