Job Summary
Automotive Assistant / Service Manager role at Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the New Orleans area. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager by enforcing policies, scheduling mechanics and technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring timely, high-quality repair and maintenance work, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring safety of team members. The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections, recommends necessary under-car repair services, directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, drives sales initiatives, communicates with customers, provides information regarding automotive repairs, and strives to meet customer satisfaction in-store. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, and/or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
