Job Summary
As an Automotive Assistant Manager and Service Manager at Mavis in Utica, NY, you will support the Store Manager to run efficient, safe operations, schedule mechanics and technicians, manage outside orders, ensure timely and high-quality vehicle repairs, and meet customer expectations. You’ll also direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, drive in-store sales initiatives, assist customers with tire selections and necessary repairs, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with the full in-store experience. The role emphasizes leadership, policy enforcement, safety, customer service, and team development, with a clear path toward career growth. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
