Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to run the Mavis retail location efficiently, enforcing policies, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing external orders, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, and ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Service Manager directs workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, assists customers with tire selections, recommends necessary automotive repairs/maintenance, delivers high-quality vehicle repair, drives sales initiatives, communicates with customers, and ensures a positive in-store experience aligned with customer expectations. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, operational oversight, and collaboration with automotive teams to meet performance and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, and/or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
