Job Summary
As a future leader at Mavis, the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager role supports the Store Manager in operating efficient, safe locations; leads scheduling of mechanics and technicians, oversees outside orders, ensures timely, high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, and strives to meet customer expectations. The Service Manager function emphasizes assisting customers with tire selections, directing workflow of mechanics and technicians, driving sales initiatives, assessing customer needs, providing repair information, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering an outstanding in-store experience. The position includes daily supervision of automotive technicians and tire personnel, with responsibilities across customer service, operations, safety, and employee development. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties
