Job Summary
Assistant Manager and Service Manager roles at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Glen Head, NY. Responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager, scheduling mechanics/technicians, enforcing policies, managing outside orders, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, directing workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, and driving sales initiatives. Service Managers assist customers with tire selections, recommend necessary under-car repair services, ensure customer satisfaction, and communicate with customers to provide information regarding repairs and maintenance. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, OR 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, OR any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
