Job Summary
Assemble plastic automotive parts according to specifications using hand tools at various stations. Maintain production logs, record product inconsistencies, and inventory tools and supplies while contacting the materials handler as needed. Periodically check products against company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion, resolving identified problems and alerting the supervisor. Work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as required, performing other related duties assigned. Requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and differentiate between colored components.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and consistent
- Works well as a productive member of a team
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Must pass a successful background check and drug screen
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to differentiate between colors, colored wires, tabs, and electronic components
- Must wear gloves
- Must be flexible with our schedule we work weekends and overtime as required
