Job Summary
Review and process invoices for payment, acting as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding invoicing and settlement. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, complete SOX controls, and conduct aging exception analysis and bank reconciliation to support the monthly close and financial reporting processes. Provide analyses of expense variances and produce work papers for monthly financial results, while supporting quarterly and annual audit efforts through research and documentation. This role serves as a liaison between store-level business operations and the Shared Services Center. Located in Thornton, CO, the position offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $21, plus health, dental, and vision insurance, a 4% 401k match, and paid vacation.
Required Qualifications
- General accounting knowledge
- Well-versed in using MS Excel
- Commitment to financial prudence and accounting diligence
- A history of success in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, web, phone, in-person)
