Job Summary
Master Automotive Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to dealership and factory standards; perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, examine vehicles for additional safety or service work, complete multi-point inspections, document work performed, and communicate with service advisors. Responsibilities include conducting road tests to verify work, utilizing tools to diagnose malfunctions, participating in manufacturer-sponsored training, maintaining CSI scores, and ensuring vehicles are returned clean. Requires ASE and manufacturer certifications heavily preferred, strong technical and mechanical skills, and ability to mentor junior technicians; must be able to work as part of a team, pass required training, and meet safety/regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Must have basic tools
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know)
