Automation Tool Engineer (Manufacturing & Automotive Systems)

Job Summary
Develop and maintain automation tools, Python-based frameworks, and data platforms supporting automotive manufacturing and service operations. Build backend services, APIs, and database systems while designing dashboards for production quality and operational monitoring. Integrate systems with industrial equipment via CAN, OBD, or Serial/UART protocols and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI. Apply AI/ML solutions to improve defect analysis and process optimization while collaborating with QA and engineering teams to reduce cycle time. Manage source code and documentation to ensure system scalability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software development, automation tool development, or system integration
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and Git version control
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as pytest, Robot Framework, or equivalent tools
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) is an advantage
- Understanding of industrial or automotive communication protocols (CAN, OBD, Serial/UART) is a plus
- Exposure to manufacturing systems (MES), factory automation, or automotive service systems is preferred
- Interest or experience in AI/ML or LLM-based applications is highly desirable
