Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs using tools like Selenium or Appium while collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing requirements. Build and maintain test automation frameworks, analyze defects, and report findings within agile development cycles. Stay current with industry trends in API automation and testing AI/ML systems. This role requires 2–4 years of experience in functional testing, ideally in BFSI, analytics, or AI environments, with a B.Tech/B.E. degree and familiarity with Python, JIRA, and TestRail.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of API automation testing principles and practices
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies
- Understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- B.Tech/B.E./MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
- 2–4 years' experience in functional testing or QA roles, ideally in BFSI, analytics, or AI product environments
- Familiarity with testing AI/ML systems, APIs, or data-driven applications
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), bug tracking, and automation frameworks
- Analytical thinker with high attention to detail, strong documentation, and clear communication skills
- Working understanding of banking workflows, compliance requirements, and Agile best practices
