Job Summary
Automation Tester Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Python and Pytest, leveraging AI tools to improve test coverage and defect detection. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. Drive multi-file changes, test generation, and CI debugging through GitLab CI/CD, K6, and Terraform-managed infra; maintain shared test frameworks and libraries for the organization; participate in cross-team efforts within Scrum; require strong English communication and AI-driven testing approaches.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience
- Framework Development — Build and maintain shared Python/Pytest test frameworks and libraries
- CI/CD Integration — Define reusable GitLab CI/CD patterns for automated testing
- Toolchain Ownership — Operate the testing toolchain (K6, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform-managed infra)
- Experience working with Scrum framework
- AI-Accelerated Output
- Claude Code required
- Expected to drive multi-file changes, test generation, and CI debugging through these tools — not just autocomplete
- Cross team collaboration experience with SDETs, Developers and QAs
- Good English Communication
