Job Summary
Automation Test Engineer skilled in Playwright and TypeScript to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automation scripts for web UI and API testing across enterprise applications. Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify test cases, automate validation, and improve coverage. Drive best practices in automation scripting, code maintainability, and reusability. Conduct automated regression, performance, and security testing; troubleshoot failures; and stay updated with new tools and frameworks. Emphasis on cross-browser testing using Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years supporting automation frameworks for enterprise web and API testing
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation in agile environments
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Playwright, and cross-browser testing
