Job Summary
Automation Test Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on automation testing experience. Responsible for executing all testing activities to improve product quality, collaborating with developers, business analysts, customer service, and operations to deliver product success, and automating functional, regression, and performance acceptance tests. Drives end-to-end automated test coverage, participates in sprint planning, and provides test recommendations within an Agile Scrum environment. Technical focus includes API and UI automation for web and mobile applications, strong coding skills in Python/Java/JavaScript/C#, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency with tools such as TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine, Nightwatch, Postman, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, SoapUI, and cURL. Familiarity with AI coding assistants and ability to write effective prompts for code snippets, tests, and documentation. English proficiency and ability to work under pressure are required; remote work is available in a hybrid arrangement for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on experience in automation testing
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies
- Deep domain knowledge of API, UI automation, web and mobile applications
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience in CI/CD (e.g., Apache Airflow, Git, Jenkins)
- Hands-on experience with test tools like TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine, Nightwatch
- Experience with tools: Postman, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, SoapUI, cURL, fetch
- Nice to have: experience using AI chat tools for research, debugging, and learning
- Ability to write clear, contextual prompts to generate code snippets, unit tests, or documentation
- Awareness of AI output limitations and responsible AI use
