Automation Technology Manager

Automation Technology Manager responsible for strategy, deployment, and daily performance of automation technologies across a fulfillment-center environment. Leads a team of automation technicians and engineers, partners with operations and IT to ensure maximum system uptime, and drives improvements in robotics, conveyors, sortation, RFID/print infrastructure, and warehouse execution software. Owns SLAs for uptime, manages preventive maintenance via CMMS, coordinates rapid recovery during outages, tunes fleet health and dispatch rules, oversees RFID read-rate performance, leads multi-shift teams, builds training and certification paths, aligns staffing with production plans, champions safety and lockout/tagout, manages WES/WCS configuration and release processes, leads equipment onboarding tests, drives capital projects, evaluates emerging technologies (AI-driven picking vision, autonomous packing cells, RFID-on-conveyor), tracks OEE/MTBF/MTTR, performs root-cause analysis on repeat failures, and collaborates with process engineers on slotting and bot-path changes to maximize throughput.
