Job Summary
Perform high-level troubleshooting and repair on machines and systems, providing technical support for all phases of the operation. Assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems while collaborating with colleagues to solve problems and enhance operations. Convey technical information effectively to contribute to productive discussions aimed at improving processes and resolving issues. Requires proficiency in electricity, electronics, fluid power, and mechanical systems, along with 4+ years of automation or industrial maintenance experience. This role is part of the Prepared Foods Division at Tyson Foods, where team members make a significant impact on the business.
Required Qualifications
- Education Training beyond high school either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training
- 4+ years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience
- Standard computer skills
- Must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques
- Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members
- Must possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must reside in the United States to be considered
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
