Job Summary

Implement, test, maintain, and repair automation equipment while troubleshooting and diagnosing failures in Energy Services systems. Perform skilled maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed, optimize equipment performance, and operate diagnostic tools to resolve electronic and mechanical control problems. Stay current on advanced pump and automation theory, complete required paperwork, and act as a trainer when needed. Travel 20% and relocate if necessary. Valid driver's license and 1-3 years of instrumentation experience required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years of Instrumentation experience
  • Must be willing to travel 20%
  • Must be willing to relocate, if necessary
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be highly proficient in automated and mechanical systems maintenance
  • Must have troubleshooting skills that seldom require assistance
  • Must be able to operate all types of diagnostic tools
  • Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with appropriate assistance

Desired Qualifications

  • Vocational training
  • Preferred experience in process instrumentation / SCADA
  • Should be able to diagnose electronic and mechanical control problems
  • Should have thorough understanding of reference materials
