Job Summary
Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic automation devices and systems. Diagnose malfunctions in operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Test and calibrate temperature sensors, flow meters, pressure gauges, and controllers to ensure accuracy. Replace defective wiring and tubing, then record calibrations, parts used, and inventory. Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and reports for as-built documentation. Monitor systems using computer workstations to identify potential problems and schedule equipment run times. Interface with installation and maintenance teams to execute repairs and modifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience
- Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of electronics
- Knowledge of mechanics
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Knowledge of pneumatics
- Knowledge of computer programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Understanding of controls networking
- Must possess valid driver's license and meet MVR requirements to operate company vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with control system architecture design, programing or maintenance
- Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming
