Job Summary
Automation Technician (Equipment Owner) at Brantford GTFC; responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems and autonomous robots that move cases, layers, and pallets. Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations, analyze trends and data to proactively identify issues, ensure optimal fulfillment performance, and develop skills across mechanical, electrical, digital/software, and robotics. Entry-level role with opportunities to grow; work 12-hour shifts including evenings, nights, and days with potential rotation; strong teamwork and communication required. Training and assessments are part of the recruitment process; site operates 24/7 with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or diploma from a Trade or Technical College in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Robotics, Engineering, and Digital/Software
