Job Summary

Diagnose and troubleshoot automated systems, robotic malfunctions, and reliability issues by resolving problems independently with little direction. Perform equipment start-ups, shutdowns, modifications, and upgrades while applying preventative maintenance methods for planned and unplanned requests. Maintain production equipment in good, clean condition and ensure all safety procedures are followed during operations. Respond timely to issues to ensure productivity and efficiency, analyzing interactions between mechanical, servo, and electrical components. Assist in implementing new equipment and sub-assembly systems while working cooperatively with the Manufacturing team.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in mechatronics, factory automation, robotics or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years' experience working with automated systems, mechanical, electrical and/or robotic technical maintenance
  • Basic PLC understanding and troubleshooting
  • Must be able to wear safety glasses, latex gloves and safety shoes as required
  • Must have sharp hearing and ability to discern tones at various levels
  • Lift and move up to 40 pounds without assistance

Desired Qualifications

  • Allen Bradley Studio 5000 (preferred), or equivalent ladder logic programming
  • Basic robotic knowledge, understanding of functions, and programming; EPSON (preferred), FANUC, UR or similar
  • Experience with 3D and 2D modeling systems; CREO Parametric (preferred), Solidworks, AutoCAD Inventor, AutoCAD
