Job Summary
Perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair, including general diagnostic and programming of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and robotic systems while collaborating with engineering and plant staff to solve operational problems. Respond to trouble calls and emergencies during and outside normal work hours, ensuring safe and timely repairs to plant equipment. Maintain proper documentation and perform preventive maintenance on production and automated warehouse systems. This 2nd shift role requires proficiency in electricity, electronics, fluid power, and manufacturing processes, with a weekly pay of $50.85 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Training beyond high school including either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training
- 4+ years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience
- Standard computer skills
- Strong skills in document organization
- Strong skills in the use of technical materials
- Strong skills in research techniques
- Proficiency or ability to become proficient in SAP Maintenance
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Ability to interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Certifications in any technical field or techniques
- 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location
- Must reside in the United States

- Assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems
- Provide technical support for all phases of the operation
- General diagnostic and programming of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's
- Understand PLC operations
- Install and maintain electrical control systems
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to identify, define and solve problems
- Perform safe and timely repairs to plant equipment in areas of electrical and instrument maintenance
- Maintain proper documentation, which includes computer printouts and system drawings
- Calibrate instrumentation devices using specialized test equipment and software
- Respond to trouble calls and emergencies, both during and outside normal work hours
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot electrical automation systems and equipment, drive systems, robotic systems, microprocessor-based (PLC) systems and electronic control systems and devices
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, control circuits, digital electronics, electrical, VFD, power supplies, computers, and power distribution
- Perform preventive maintenance on the various Production and Automated Warehouse systems
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
- Certifications in any technical field or techniques
