Job Summary
Load product into machines, set up lines, and operate auto-palletizing robots to ensure cartoner, case erector, and robotic palletizer units run effectively. Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery, troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and manage start-ups to verify equipment condition. Execute daily checks at product changeovers, document code dates and labels, and monitor workflow to maximize output while preventing rework. Maintain accurate records of production and materials, suggest continuous improvements, and follow all company SOPs and HACCP guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Some college level training in Electronics Technology or similar technical field
- Combination of experience and skilled trade's programs or military training
- Extensive knowledge on hydraulics, pneumatics, systems
- Working knowledge of PLC's
- Extensive experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, electronic equipment
- Proven attention to detail demonstrated in a fast-paced environment
- Good math and accounting skills
- Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, and facilitation, presentation, and employee motivational skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Travel to other facilities may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related technology field
- One year of experience in a distribution center
- One year of training experience or a combination of education and experience
- ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) experience
