Job Summary
Automation Team Leader responsible for overseeing the automated warehouse processing area, leading a team of equipment owners and technicians, identifying and eliminating line losses, delivering startup and implementation of new equipment and initiatives, collaborating with technical experts and other sites, and driving operational excellence through standardized processes, digital tools, and continuous improvement. The role requires coaching and developing team capabilities, maintaining HS&E and quality foundations, owning line direction and performance targets, and adapting to a 12-hour shift schedule (day and night) with rotating shifts. Additional duties include integrating digital analytics, supporting SWP and standards improvements, and ensuring safe operation and adherence to GMP/quality practices.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, warehouse or like industry managing people
- leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- ability to set standards, role model, coach, teach, and set technical direction
- experience with influencing skills
- immigration sponsorship not available for this role
- physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to work in warehouse conditions
- willingness to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules
