Job Summary
Automation Team Engineer responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to support the OMEGA program. Develop automation workflows, scripts, and data integrations; automate recurring reporting processes and delivery of reports and operational data feeds; draft technical documentation; enable release readiness checks, governance artifact processing, incident summaries, and RCA support; create reusable automation assets and templates; collaborate with the Digital Value Analytics Team to focus on production and delivery of reports and data feeds. Emphasis on practical automation to reduce manual effort, improve consistency and speed of recurring tasks, and scale automation assets across COEs and future workstreams. Requires experience in process automation, reporting automation, data integration, Agile practices, and strong communication skills; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency with ability to obtain a Public Trust.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a Process Automation Engineer supporting enterprise IT or healthcare modernization programs
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for complex systems and applications
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and requirements management processes
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Visio, or similar platforms
