Job Summary
Develop, estimate, and implement assembly tooling and equipment for NASG projects while creating quotes for new assembly processes. Perform offline robotic simulations and programming, then assist in developing efficient process layouts and product flows based on TQPS. Review customer requirements to identify best processes, gather vendor proposals, and establish engineering solutions to prevent nonconformities. Lead project teams to develop full-scale plans, monitor results using data, and present reports defining project changes and interventions. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and stakeholders, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time within scope while practicing risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Electronics / Robotics / Electrical Controls / Automation / Metallurgy
- Completion of College level courses in Industrial Manufacturing or significant work experience in the area of Industrial or Automotive Manufacturing
- Experience working in a Project Management Manufacturing Process Engineering Capacity
- Experience working in the areas of automotive stampings, welding & automation
- MIG & Resistance welding, robots laser welding, vision systems
- Machine controls knowledge /experience
- Experience in Risk Management and Change Management
- Experience and Knowledge in Vendor Management and Capital equipment Projects
- Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of Project Management Software
- Experience selecting vendors for projects
- Experience with people management and strategic planning
- Continuous improvement
- Understanding and working knowledge of automotive plants and processes/principles, company products, trade terminology, metal materials, stamping/welding/assembly manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment, die design and maintenance, GD&T and machine operation

- Solid working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Excel required
- SolidWorks / NX / AutoCAD / Inventor software experience
- Robotic simulation / offline programming software experience
- Minimal, but some travel will be required to USA, Mexico, Canada
