Job Summary
Design, develop, and support manufacturing control systems to ensure continuity of laboratory operations. Program, test, and validate process automation systems while managing upgrades through changes control procedures. Troubleshoot field control system issues and execute capital projects including network design, MES implementation, and PLC configuration. Develop user requirement specifications, SOPs, and training materials for automation systems. Establish integration strategies to install and integrate hardware, panels, and field devices.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience
- minimum BS Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Chemical, etc.)
- 0 to 7 months experience in process industry
- Understanding of chemical and/or biological processing and process control fundamentals
- Understanding of troubleshooting methods and problem-solving techniques
- Experience in Control Systems (Emerson DeltaV, Allen Bradley, Foxboro, Siemens, Honeywell)
- Experience with SCADA, MES, and database systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with computer system validation
- Experience in a regulated environment (GxP)
