Job Summary
Review customer RFQs and develop technical and commercial proposals for LV, MV, and MCC applications. Serve as the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the sales team, providing application support, product demonstrations, and training. Coordinate technical requirements and cross-functional activities from quotation through handoff while identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships. Communicate the value of Rockwell Automation solutions and differentiate them from competitive offerings to drive revenue growth. Office-based role with some warehouse exposure; hours are 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime for meetings and projects. Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum two years of industrial automation experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting, applying, or engineering industrial automation and power control solutions, including Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Experience reviewing customer RFQs and preparing technical and commercial proposals for LV/MV MCC applications
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and technical data sheets
- Experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial motor control, power distribution, and automation systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as business needs require
