Automation Specialist (Electrical)

Job Summary
Automation Specialist (Electrical) provides technical expertise to support manufacturing: maintain machines to meet production output and quality metrics, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, implement machine enhancements and project work, write standard work instructions, and assist engineers in CI activities. Requires ability to interpret electrical/electronic wiring or schematic diagrams, PLC knowledge (Omron or Allen Bradley), HMI, vision systems (Cognex/Keyence), sensors, and pneumatic diagrams. Night shift from 7pm to 7am (12 hours) with training on day shift initially.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in Electrical aspect - Electrical Control & Automation
- Basic knowledge/experience with PLC (Omron or Allen Bradley)
- Ability to interpret electrical or electronics wiring or schematic diagrams
- Ability to interpret pneumatic diagrams
- Sound knowledge of sensors and switches for assembly lines
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery electrical/electronic components and pneumatic components
- Shift: 12 hours night shift 7pm to 7am (3/4/4/3 pattern)
- Basic knowledge of Industry vision systems (Cognex & Keyence)
- Write Standard Work Instruction / Procedure for assigned operation / process
- Participate in training and coaching of Technicians and new hires on machine operations
