Job Summary
Develop and maintain C# WPF applications for industrial automation equipment, designing intuitive operator interfaces using WPF and MVVM. Develop motion control software to integrate with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and industrial devices while supporting software integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Monitor machine performance through diagnostics, alarms, and data logging, then collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop new machine capabilities. Maintain technical documentation, manage software releases using GIT, and apply best practices including code reviews and continuous improvement. Provide occasional customer support, startup, and on-site assistance as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong C#/.NET and WPF experience (MVVM preferred).
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and Git.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem solving skills.
