Job Summary
Commission, test, and commission automation and control systems on Royal IHC vessels and equipment. Diagnose and resolve complex faults within PLC, HMI, SCADA, and integrated control systems while performing global service, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Optimize systems to enhance performance and reliability, supporting project teams during installation, testing, and client handover. Document service reports and collaborate with engineering teams, shipyards, and subcontractors. This international role involves rotating project locations worldwide, with approximately 50% of time spent abroad.
Required Qualifications
- MBO/HBO werk- en denkniveau
- Industriële Automatisering, Elektrotechniek, Maritieme Techniek, Mechatronica of Besturingstechniek
- Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen Automation, Commissioning of Service Engineering
- Ervaring met PLC-, SCADA- en HMI-systemen binnen een industriële of maritieme omgeving
- Ervaring met sensoren, actuatoren, frequentieregelaars en aandrijfsystemen
- Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een gestructureerde aanpak bij troubleshooting
- Ervaring met het oplossen van complexe technische storingen
- Zelfstandig kunnen werken in een dynamische internationale projectomgeving
- Klantgerichte instelling en uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden
- Bereidheid om internationaal te reizen en op rotatiebasis te werken
- Gemiddeld verblijf circa 50% van je tijd in het buitenland
